Second in English

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Second in English to join our outstanding English department from September 2026. The successful candidate will join an innovative, forward-thinking team of teachers who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and committed to raising standards of attainment across the whole ability range.

Job Purpose

A key responsibility of this post is the ability to teach English Literature and/or Language across the full ability range, including A Level. The role will also involve deputising for the Head of Department as required.
